The Attorney General and trusted local nonprofits have created a new program in Washington. It provides financial help to keep you in your home, even if you’ve been denied a mortgage modification. This new rescue loan program offers qualified homeowners deferred loans up to $30,000 at zero to 2% interest.
A foreclosure prevention specialist at a HUD approved housing counseling agency can explain how the program works and determine whether you qualify at no cost for the assessment.
