DESCRIPTION:WHRC is deeply committed to increasing equitable access to homeownership as part of the Black Home Initiative partnership and throughout our statewide footprint. \nTo better serve homebuyers and homeowners statewide\, WHRC is making changes to our intake and referral processes and tools with a special focus on our referral partnerships. As part of a broad strategy\, we have made the following changes: \n• Revised our partner agreements that reflect shared values around equitable access to homeownership. \n• Launched a robust vetting process to ensure only those service providers deeply committed to equity will receive referrals. \n• Added lending and realty professionals to our network of referral partners. \n• Made available an anti-racism and trauma-informed training for all partners to ensure they have the knowledge and skills to provide all clients with the best service possible. \nIf you would like to learn more about our new partner engagement process\, please register for one of our information sessions.
