Habitat for Humanity of Kitsap County partners with local families to help them build and buy safe, decent, & affordable places to call home. Their vision is a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Habitat for Humanity of Kitsap County believes having a safe, decent, & affordable place to call home is the key to unlocking opportunity and upward mobility for generations to come.
Program Highlights:
- Habitat for Humanity of Kitsap County homebuyers contribute to the building of their community and furthering of Habitat’s vision
- Habitat for Humanity of Kitsap County has built more than 100 homes through partnership with homeowner families and the support of volunteers
- Habitat for Humanity of Kitsap County is currently building 3-bedroom, 1-bath all electric Net Zero homes
Eligibility:
- Have a need for affordable housing, must meet income requirements
- Be a first-time homeowner (or not owned a home in the last 3 years)
- Be willing to partner with Habitat by participating in volunteer opportunities.
- Either live or work in Kitsap County
