WHRC and BSF: HSRJL Training- August (Part 2)

Join us for a virtual training learning about homeownership inequalities and exploring in a brave space new homeownership opportunities!

This training is hosted by the Washington Homeownership Resource Center (WHRC) and Beneficial State Foundation (BSF). Throughout the training, you will be able to understand factors that block and prevent generational wealth for low-income and BIPOC families, by identifying the historical and present-day structural and institutional racism in the government and the banking industry. You will be analyzing the impact of this racism on BIPOC families and communities and gathering information on proposed strategies for dismantling systemic racism in homeownership services throughout Washington state.

This training is held over two, 4-hour days. Please be sure to attend both days: August 3rd and 5th, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
